Coca-cola Rain garden
Coca-Cola was the first to break ground on their giant Coke bottle shaped garden Tuesday, but what's really unique about the rain gardens is that it could also help with some of our storm water problems, by catching the excess water before it floods our streets and homes. "If we're able to do that, particularly in key places around parking lots, we'll be able to materially impact the amount of water that's going into our storm sewer and it will minimize the cost that taxpayers will have to incur in order to manage our storm water" said Mayor Jim Newberry.

It is the #1 garden in BGRA's goal of 2010 rain gardens in Central Kentucky. It will be collecting the water draining off of the parking lots around the Coca Cola plant. Read the article from WTVQ News.
